Swimming lessons will run term time
The classes will last 30 minutes
Class sizes will be no more than 4 children
Lessons follow the Learn to Swim pathway from age 3 to the end of Primary School
Each class costs £10

Meet Sarah

Sarah has been at Arnprior swimming since it started back in 2019. We are so fortunate to have a swimming teacher who is so passionate about both getting children to swim, as well as the importance of water safety.

A Little Bit About Our Swimming Instructor, Sarah!

My name is Sarah and I am delighted to be able to teach swimming lessons here at Arnprior Swimming Pool.

I have spent many hours watching and supporting my two sons swim, from the 1st preschool lessons all the way through to competing for Cheshire and the Northwest of England. Being a registered timekeeper and team manager initially and then qualifying as a swimming teacher.

Experience has been gained by teaching at public and private venues, whilst attending continual development programmes and training courses. My aim is always the same no matter what age or ability, in that lessons are made fun whilst following a recognised pathway to enable swimmers to become confident in the water, have a life skill and most importantly be safe.

I moved back to the Stirling area in 2019 and have taught at Arnprior since the pool opened.

Arnprior Swimming lessons are delivered integrating STA and Scottish Swimming pathways, to enable smooth progress through our awards with recognised outcomes synonymous with other awarding bodies.

I look forward to sharing my passion for swimming with your children, from pre-school to Club Ready.

The Pool

Heated to a cosy 32 degrees Celsius with underfloor heating making it ideal for babies and children.
Our changing facilities are luxury with rainfall showers and toiletries from local soap company Siabann.
Eco-friendly: The pool is sustainably heated by our wood chip biomass boiler and filled with fresh spring water from our own well at Arnprior Farm.

Pool Rules

Please read our terms and conditions before booking/using the swimming pool.

The users of Arnprior Swimming Pool and their children must strictly adhere to the pool rules, and neither Arnprior Swimming accept any responsibility or liability for injuries sustained by any person during any lawful or unlawful use of the pool.

Terms & Conditions

No lone swimmers
No lone adult with child under 8
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult
Baby 1 to 1
Children under 4yrs: 1 adult to 2 children.

Children aged 4-7yrs: 1 adult to 4 children.
Counter Current to be used for swimming only
You must be out of the pool and changed by the time your booked time slot is over to allow for the next group to begin. Time slots begin, and finish on the hour.
No diving, wrestling, bombing or rowdy behaviour
No running around the pool
No pushing or throwing people into the pool
No backwards jumping from the pool side
Floats are to be used as swimming aids only
No playing on the steps
Exit the pool by steps only
Babies MUST wear a swim nappy. Nappies can be purchased from Arnprior Swimming
No pets are permitted on the premises.
No glass objects allowed in pool area
Smoking is NOT permitted in the pool building
Food and drink is NOT permitted at the pool area (For parties, food and drink to only be consumed in the Party Pod).
Arnprior Swimming reserves the right to refuse entry. There may be occasions when water testing results require pool closure for a short period of time
Any person with a recent history of diarrhoea or other gastric complaints (ie within the past 14 days) should not swim.
Please leave the changing rooms clean and tidy.
