Swimming Pool T&Cs

Contract of hire

The hiring contract shall be between Arnprior Swimming pool (the operator) and the lead person who makes the booking and shall deemed to be made subject to these conditions of hire. Unauthorised use of the facilities is not permitted.

Safety

  • No lifeguard is on site
  • No lone swimmers
  • Anyone using the facilities does so at their own risk
  • There must always be a responsible/competent adult swimmer present when children are present. Adults must be able to care for children in the event of an accident
  • Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water
  • Users have a duty of care for their guests
  • Maximum of 10 in the pool at any one time. Extra adults can be poolside
  • No Diving into pool. (Max depth of the pool 1.2m)
  • In the event of an accident or incident, please notify the owners
  • Do not allow a person within the group who may have a contagious illness to swim
  • No unauthorised access to the plant room or store at the rear of the building

Adult to child ratio

Baby 1 to 1

Children under 4yrs: 1 adult to 2 children

Children aged 4-7yrs: 1 adult to 4 children

Loss and Injury

The owners or Arnprior Swimming Pool will not be held liable for any injury, illness, accident or loss or damage to property, however caused, directly or indirectly in or out of the pool.

Consideration for other members

  • Pool users are kindly requested to leave the facilities as they would wish to find them
  • The allotted session includes time for changing. Please clear the building by the end of your session time
  • No outdoor footwear is allowed into the changing room or around the pool.
  • Shower at home before your session as this reduces the need for extra chemicals in the pool
  • Young children still using nappies must wear swim nappies. Used nappies to be taken home by carers. You can buy swim nappies in our vending machine

Damage

All damages and breakages must be reported immediately to the owners.

Additional Terms

  • Only responsible persons over the age of 18 years can book the pool.
  • The proprietors retain the right to cancel a session without notice.
  • Strictly no smoking or eating on or around the premises.
  • No sub-letting.
  • Individuals or groups can be refused bookings for non-compliance with these terms.

Glamping Pod T&Cs

Prices & Payment

The price includes accommodation plus any additional extras chosen at the time of booking. A deposit of 25% will be taken at the time of booking. If the final payment is not paid by the due date, Arnprior Glamping reserves the right to retain your deposit and re-let the accommodation.

Cancellation

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately.

If you want to swap to an alternate date, then that is possible in specific personal circumstances, please note that an additional charge is likely to apply due to seasonality pricing. We would need to know 2 weeks in advance, at the latest, to fill any booking. If we can not fill the booking, we are unable to process any type of refund.

Pets

Pets are not permitted. Should this rule not be adhered to, fines may be enforced.

Arrival

Check-in from 3pm on the day of arrival.

Departure

Check out time is 10 am on the day of departure, you are responsible for ensuring that the key is placed back in the security key box at your pod.

Damages and Breakages

Please take care when staying at our Glamping Pods. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repairs if the damage or breakage is significant. We may also make an additional charge of £50 if you did not report any significant breakages/damage to our pods.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Data

Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held only for the purposes of dealing with your booking or marketing purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Vouchers

Arnprior vouchers can be used to contribute, or entirely pay for, anything going on at Arnprior Farm- whether its take a swim, book a pumpkin, stay in a pod or visit our lambing experience, we can’t wait to welcome you, or one of your special people, to Arnprior Farm.

All of our vouchers are sent out by email after purchase. They will come with a personalised code that can be used on the website. Gift vouchers are non refundable or redeemable for cash and non transferable. Vouchers must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase, after which period the voucher will expire without the right to refund.

Pumpkins

By purchasing a ticket you are entering into an agreement with Arnprior Farm, Duncan McEwen & Son

Entry to Arnprior Pumpkins only on production of a valid ticket or e-ticket.

Children must be accompanied by an adult who is over 18. No under 18s will be admitted if unaccompanied by a responsible adult.

All tickets are non-refundable. Days and time slots once booked cannot be changed or transferred to another time, sorry. We reserve the right to release more tickets for any particular day or time as we adapt to demand.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to ticket holders who arrive at the event late or who are behaving disorderly or using bad language or being abusive towards staff or visitors.

Ticket holders behaving in an anti-social manner will be asked to leave the site.

Ticket holders will be asked to leave the site if they refuse to comply with Covid-19 safety measures e.g. social distancing, hand hygiene.

The patch will only be cancelled if extreme weather makes the patch unsafe. It is (obviously!) an outdoor patch and won’t be cancelled due to rain or temperature. Refunds will be offered only in the event of a full cancellation. In the event of a full cancellation, of any time slot or any day or more days, customers will be issued with booking codes to allow their visit to be re-booked  for the 2021 pumpkin season. A decision to cancel would be taken at 8am on the day, and notice would be posted online.

In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather and / or government guidance relating to Covid19 deemed necessary, we will offer to transfer your ticket to pumpkin season 2021.

Arnprior Farm are unable to accept liability for personal damage, losses or injuries sustained at the patch including damage and losses to property and motor vehicles if the cause is due to negligence of the ticket holder or unforeseeable actions of other patrons.

As a condition of sale, ticket holders consent to being filmed and / photographed at the patch. These images/videos may be shared on our website and social media.

Please follow directions given by stewards and event staff.

Please wear suitable footwear.
